Inizio announces Life Science Cares as new US charity partner

New US charity partnership with Life Science Cares  

Inizio is delighted to announce Life Science Cares as its new US charity partner. This partnership strengthens our commitment to health equity, community impact, and supporting people’s basic needs across the communities where we operate. It also creates a variety of volunteering opportunities for our employees who are eager to give back to their local communities. 

Life Science Cares is a collective effort of the life science industry dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty and inequality across five US communities – Bay Area, Boston, New York, Philadelphia and San Diego. Harnessing the industry’s financial and human capital, LSC invests in community-based organizations providing access to basic needs, education, and economic opportunity.  

Why this partnership matters to Inizio  

At Inizio, health equity is not a standalone initiative – it is embedded into our daily operations and interactions with clients, patients, and our communities. Our work focuses on helping more medicines get to the people who need them. Recognizing global disparities in access to healthcare, we strive to address these challenges wherever possible. Our goal of advancing health equity begins with addressing the factors that influence people’s wellbeing, so that everyone has a fair chance to meet their basic needs and thrive.

Inizio’s broader commitment to our communities 

We seek to have a positive impact on the communities we serve and on society more widely. As part of this commitment, Inizio proudly supports several charities including: 

London Autism Group Charity – a small, autistic-led organization supporting autistic people across London. With Inizio’s support, they have been able to expand their work and open more welcoming spaces for connection and community. 

UNICEF’s Health Thematic Fund – which helps improve access to vaccinations and essential healthcare for communities around the world. Inizio’s support over the past four years enabled UNICEF to fully immunize over 3,000 children under the age of five across five communities with limited access to healthcare. 

Liver Ireland Support Network – a charity committed to providing essential support, education, and advocacy for individuals living with liver disease. Inizio supports the Liver Ireland Support Network in honor of Brendan McAtamney, the former CEO of UDG Healthcare, who sadly passed away in December 2024.
