The Directors of Inizio are pleased to present a mid-year update for 2022.
In June 2022, the Group launched a new company brand name – Inizio. Inizio brings together, under one brand name, Huntsworth, acquired by Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R) in 2020, and UDG Healthcare, the parent company of Ashfield, acquired by CD&R in 2021.
Trading in the first half of the year has been very strong, with all divisions growing revenues double digit. Growth has been driven by a combination of existing and new clients, supported by strong market tailwinds in the pharmaceutical and biotech sector. Particularly strong growth has been seen in the Group’s Engage and Advisory divisions.
The Group made a number of strategic acquisitions during the period. In March 2022, the Group acquired Research Partnership, a leading global healthcare market research and insights company. The company has become part of Inizio’s solution-oriented and consulting division, Inizio Advisory. In addition, the Group’s MarComms division acquired Melt Media, a digital-first life sciences marketing agency in June 2022.
The Group continues to trade strongly in the second half of the year and remains comfortably compliant with the terms of its debt facilities.
