Inizio Engage increase access to HPV & MMR vaccinations with mobile vaccination capability
The mobile unit and nursing staff have been fully funded by MSD in the UK as a service to medicine.
It’s estimated that as many as 370,000 young women between 18 and 25 in the UK did not receive their HPV vaccine at school. At 25, UK females lose the right to receive a free HPV vaccine to protect them against preventable HPV-related cancers.
To actively combat this and increase uptake of vaccinations with 18–25-year-old females, our Inizio Engage UK nursing team collaborated with Central Liverpool Primary Care Network to pilot a vaccination service, helping protect young women against HPV and MMR.
