Health systems and their leaders are constantly faced with the challenge of becoming more efficient and innovative in their approach. One method some health systems try to implement is a lean methodology, although this can be harder than it appears. Vynamic was faced with the task of solving how to apply the best elements of lean methodology to a large statewide integrated delivery network.
In this case study, Vynamic explores how they tailored the best aspects of lean methodology in a way that would embody the spirit of the client and their values. Vynamic set out three outcomes to improve patient and caregiver experience, reduce harm and improve financial outcomes of the health system.
Vynamic shows how there are opportunities to replicate the successes of the case study anywhere, as long as the values and behaviors are established in the health system.
