InizioBoard in September 2022.
In light of regulatory changes
andthe progress we’ve made
sofar,in Q4 2023 we reviewed
ourSustainability Strategy to
ensurewe’re focusing on where
wecanhave the most impact
andtoassign key performance
indicators(KPIs) against each
pillarof ourstrategy. TheInizio
Board approved the updates
totheSustainability Strategy
inFebruary2024.

Materiality
In 2021, Inizio and its predecessor
companies completed a single
materiality assessment.
Mindfulof the changes in our
organizational structure since
then, and in preparation for the
upcoming CSRD, we’ve recently
begun a double materiality
assessment to ensure we’re
focusing our efforts on the
mostimportant issues for our
stakeholders. We’ll present the
results of thisassessment in
our2024 report.
We have also developed our
reporting with reference to
GRIand we have used the
material topics identified in
our 2021 assessment as the
basis of ourGRI reporting.

From2024 onwards, we
willusethe output from

Sustainability Pledges
In our 2022 Sustainability Report,
wereported several Sustainability
Pledges. As part our recent
strategy refresh, these pledges
have been incorporated into
ourSustainability Strategy
asinternal targets, contributing
tothe achievement of our KPIs.

Environmental
To reach Net Zero greenhouse
gasemissions in our operations
andvalue chain by 2040.
1. To decarbonize our operations to Net Zero by
2040, with a 46.2% reduction in our absolute
Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2031, inline with
our science-based target.
2. To reduce our Scope 3 emissions to Net Zero
by 2040 and at a minimum by 27.5% by 2031,
in line with our science-based target.
