In light of regulatory changes
andthe progress we’ve made
sofar,in Q4 2023 we reviewed
ourSustainability Strategy to
ensurewe’re focusing on where
wecanhave the most impact
andtoassign key performance
indicators(KPIs) against each
pillarof ourstrategy. TheInizio
Board approved the updates
totheSustainability Strategy
inFebruary2024.

Materiality
In 2021, Inizio and its predecessor
companies completed a single
materiality assessment.
Mindfulof the changes in our
organizational structure since
then, and in preparation for the
upcoming CSRD, we’ve recently
begun a double materiality
assessment to ensure we’re
focusing our efforts on the
mostimportant issues for our
stakeholders. We’ll present the
results of thisassessment in
our2024 report.
We have also developed our
reporting with reference to
GRIand we have used the
material topics identified in
our 2021 assessment as the
basis of ourGRI reporting.

From2024 onwards, we

strategy refresh, these pledges
have been incorporated into

Environmental
To reach Net Zero greenhouse
gasemissions in our operations
andvalue chain by 2040.
1. To decarbonize our operations to Net Zero by
2040, with a 46.2% reduction in our absolute
Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2031, inline with
our science-based target.
2. To reduce our Scope 3 emissions to Net Zero
by 2040 and at a minimum by 27.5% by 2031,
in line with our science-based target.
